Tyson is so cute!

It's transfer day again! Sister Barcenas is returning home and I will miss her :( She served with all her heart, might, mind and strength I know it..and my new companion is Sister Villanueva! Yippeee!! We're staying here in Cadiz 1st ward but we're splitting the ward in half and two new sisters are joining us! I'm pretty excited we have tons of miracles and exciting work happening here so we definitely need the help!

I had exchanges this week with Sister Ellis here in Cadiz! We got invited to a house blessing and had a feast and we also got to find a bunch of new people and had lots of great lessons. It was a good day.

WE MOVED!! The new house is so nice. I love it. And it's so clean and 0 rats :) I sleep so well now.

This Saturday Nicole and Isaiah were baptized!!! I love them. We've been blessed with so many miracles and precious sacred experiences this transfer.

Last week someone texted us and said they just moved here about a year ago from Bacolod and that they haven't been coming to church like they should and they asked if we could come visit them so of course we went! We met the sweetest little family ever and they came back to church this week. Also the mom's younger sister joined the lesson and asked us herself if she could be baptized! The church is true and the miracles are still coming!

This computer doesn't have a place to put my pictures in my maybe I can send them later when my new companion gets here! I'm still gwapa though so don't worry too much if they don't come! :)

I love you all

KAHANG MATA! (Spicy eyes)

My new favorite excuse for why someone didn't read the Book of Mormon. It directly translates to spicy eyes! Oh how I love the people here.

This week was great President Sumagpao approved our new house and we're moving next week!

I went on exchanges this week in Old Sagay with Sister Magnayon. It was the best the people there are so wonderful. A tatay there climbed up the tree when we got there to get us some fresh coconut and it was delicious! The best I've ever had. I love exchanges. It's like Heavenly Father gives me extra help to be my best self and I learn so much from all the sisters I get to work with. I'm so blessed to have this extra opportunity to help and serve and make sure everyone is doing okay. I made tinola for all the sisters there. It was yummy. I'm Iron Chef Zollinger. ;)

We had a wonderful FHE this week and also Isaiah passed his baptism interview and Nicole's interview is tomorrow so we should have a really special weekend! :) Yipeee!

Also I think my immune system is missing whatever power fights off colds beacuse I'm on my 4th one in a year. Ay na ko gid sobrang palagpat sa akon nga illong ka tutunlan. Tuod gale ang kahang mata abi mo lahog2x lang pero tuod siya! Sige lang ah prutas prutas lang malampuwasan ko ni!  (according to google translate...
I'm really over my throat. You see, it's just a matter of getting your eyes on it! I'll just be fruit fruit I'll survive!)

Love you all!

Have some pics. (maganda ako ngayon tama ba?) (
I'm beautiful right now)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOMMY GREETA!

This week we training the Colonia Divina district council in Sagay. It was about the Brother of Jared again. Also this week we had MLC in Bacolod. We're focusing on flooding the mission with the Book of Mormon and I think it's working because the office ran out! I hate it when that happens it feels like I'm missing my right arm or something.

Pest control came this week!!! So far since I got to Cadiz we have disposed of I think 23 rats if my count is correct. I think the queen it the last one standing. We can hear her running around in the ceiling. It sounds like a fat cat. YUCK. Anyways all is weeeelll because we found a new house and President Sumagpao is coming up here tomorrow to see if we can move into it! YIPEEE Send your prayers.

We have this super awesome super elect teenager we're
teaching. His name is Lehi and he's not even a member. He's doing a ten day social media fast and all we've taught him in the Restoration and Follow the Prophet. He's the BEST. We're also teaching his brother and his 2nd cousin and his niece and they're like the most elect youth ever their eyes sparkle every time we teach.

I know Heavenly Father is hastening his work it's only week 4 and we've already started teaching more people this transfer than any other transfer on my mission and we still have two weeks left to find more! They're adding another set of sisters to our area next transfer so we're trying to build them some really strong areas to come into so we're been doing tons of finding and exploring so they can have a successful time next transfer. Yippee.

Hard stuff happens too sometimes but the only truly hard thing is living life without the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Any other hard thing pales in comparison. The church is true! I'm so blessed to be on the Lord's errand.

I am the Curry Master Chef

Hey so an update on the little boy who had a stroke! So he got a blessing from the Elders and stayed in the hospital for a few more days but we went and visited his family this week and he's 100% better!! He's back in school and living life! Our God is a God of miracles!!

Sister Barcenas and I trained in District council this week about the Brother of Jared. He went to work and then he saw God. We related it to how we can get to work as missionaries and then we can see Heavenly Father doing His own work. We just need to be obedient and submissive and ready and He'll lead us around in His vineyard. It was good the spirit was strong!

This week I went on exchanges with Sister Amataga in the Cadiz 2nd ward. We met this tatay named Romeo and he told me his family folk tales. So he said that heaven used to be close to the earth and the people could just talk to God. Also they could plant corn and rice in the field and then ignore it and it would grow and the people would just go home to their house and wait. Then when it was time they would yell and the corn and the rice to walk home so they could eat! And then the people would eat. But then God was upset because the people got so lazy so he raised heaven and made the people work. And that's why we have to work hard now. It was an interested story I wrote it in my journal. Anyways the sisters went back and said he was hiding behind the trees so that's a bummer.

I love to be a missionary. There's always opposition in all things but that's what makes life so beautiful.

We flooded the Church!!

True story ^

(p.s. this is from last week but our email wasn't working)

Kevin was baptized this Saturday!! His testimony was the best I’ve ever heard. He said he knows the church is true because it’s changed his life. So the font at the church always takes forever to fill up so the water was still running when Kevin was baptized. But then after that we forgot to turn it off…. There was a meeting going on at the church at the same time for the seminary and institute teachers and one of them came running in and said that the font was overflowing into the hallway! So after Kevins baptism we got to have a nice service project of scooping water into buckets because we flooded the church :)

Sister Barcenas and I trained at Zone Conference! We did a role play for everyone just to show how we’ve been using family history in finding and we asked President and Sister Sumagpao and some other missionaries to pretend to be a family and it turned out hilarious but also incredibly effective so that was wonderful.  Also we got the new Preach My Gospel at zone conference!        It’s basically the same but the wording is better and there’s some clarifications on doctrine and small stuff like that.

After zone conference we went to the hospital with the Elders because a little brother of one of the people we’re teaching had a stroke. They gave him a blessing in the hospital and then we sang I Need Thee Every Hour to all the people in the hospital. I think little brother is doing better now but he still can’t move the left side of his body :(
Yesterday I got to help some little girls on the beach collect seashells while someone we were teaching was getting us a snack. That was a precious moment. Also I had a little photo-shoot with Bishop Chua because I think he looks like a Filipino version of my dad haha!

Keep the faith.  I love all your stinking guts.
